I’m Jackie Ballhatchet, an Architectural Designer based in Walthamstow and the Isle of Wight, and founder of Fourfold Design.

I help homeowners unlock the potential of their homes through thoughtful extensions, renovations and garden projects. My approach begins with the bigger picture: understanding how a house needs to work now, how it may need to change over time, and where carefully considered interventions can have the greatest impact.

I develop a clear masterplan for the whole home, creating spaces that feel connected, make better use of light and layout, and can adapt as family life evolves. Where possible, I consider the house and garden together, reimagining the relationship between inside and outside to create a more generous and enjoyable place to live.

I guide homeowners through the full design and construction process, from the first ideas through planning, technical design and delivery on site. I work closely with a trusted network of structural engineers, contractors, specialist consultants and designers, bringing the right team together to help deliver each project from start to finish.

With over 18 years’ experience delivering complex projects across every stage of design and construction, I combine creative thinking with practical oversight and a clear, collaborative process. Fourfold Design was founded to bring that depth of experience to residential projects, helping clients make confident decisions and create homes with lasting value.
