‘The Look Off’

After many years in the house, this family of four wanted to refresh their garden and make much better use of the space they already had.

The existing patio will be rebuilt with hardwood decking and enhanced planting, while the middle of the garden will be completely reimagined. An underused area of lawn will make way for a bespoke pergola and seating area, a path through generous planting, and a new water feature.

The design creates a more layered journey through the garden, with carefully positioned trees and planting helping to screen the more active play and exercise area beyond — where football and the trampoline can continue to rule.

The result will be a garden with distinct places to sit, play and move through, while feeling greener, more immersive and more connected as a whole.
